First Sunday service of the university. Was damn nervous and having a mental breakdown. Had a hard time focusing on my duties. Life was bad.
Monday, 8th sept.
Regained some composure. Woke up early and helped welcome new students, and help them with pots and pans. Met dozens of people. At night, had DVD and games night. Only a dozen turned up and things were difficult and awkward. First event where the residents are the hosts. Watched Shrek and played charade. I performed and entertained and help led the game. Very fun and interesting setting.

Lay out of things. Just for memory sake.
Tuesday, 9th sept.
Friends came over in morning. Helped freshers with pots and pans again. First free meal served at chap at night. First public appearance. Picked up Farah and Aisha from airport, and had dinner together in the chaplaincy.

Space planning.

Robert, American phd student in computer science. My partner. Filling up the bottles of salt and pepper.
Wednesday, 10th sept.
Worked from 1pm up till 9pm. Had few breaks in between. Cooked for the dinner with 2 others. Was exhausted after that. Cut my finger badly while slicing baguettes. Bled like mad. Have to cover things up and quickly serve the food. Worked in teams and was very efficient. At night had a short talk about what is Christianity. Met more friends, and built rapport. Ended at 8:30pm, and cleaned things up and finish by 9pm.
Thursday,11 sept.
Day off!!! Woohoo! Spent the whole day out shopping and helping my Farah and Aisha. Bought household items and a super good looking jacket for 20 pounds. I am truly satisfied. Came back tired and glad.
Friday, 12th sept.
Woke up late. Day off again. Had a traumatic night. FOUGHT hard to keep my head in place. Went over to my friends place at night. Had dinner and played charade. Stayed over. Funny games we played.
Saturday, 13th sept.
Went to city and meet Timothy, my old Nigerian friend. Had lunch and saw his wedding videos. It was so beautiful.
Let me sidetrack abit.
Of late, there has been lots of weddings happening about me. There was one at Metro church, one more here, the newlywed American couple that married in july. And Timothy who is going to celebrate his 1st anniversary on 15th. Then found out another friend from thr Christian Union who got married last weekend. And today, 13th sept, had supper with another couple, a Scottish and French who are getting engaged soon.
The count is now 5.
I think its a sign.
And yeah, went back to chaplaincy after that. Had good conversation with mom. At night went for my first ever catholic mass!!!!!! Wow, man, it was really interesting. At night, had supper and a good conversation with the American couple, who told me their love story. Hahahahha, it was just so sweet. Well, it is only sweet if they marry, and not sweet if they didnt. LOL. Very interesting day.
Sunday, 14th sept.
Today.
Last day of the freshers week. Summary written earlier. Most amazing day ever. Worked from 10am to 9pm, and most tiring too.
In morning, prepared for sunday service. Pizzas, coffee, tea, etc etc. Met more friends.
In afternoon, prepared for evening's BBQ. Had unexpected help from 2 lovely ladies that are pure sanguine and i enjoyed having them around. ( Dont worry, they are like 30).

Hehe, cant remember their names, but they were fun to be around. Makes things more enjoyable and easier.

BBQ grills.

Robert pouring charcoals.
Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever, I am a BBQer!!
I now know how to set up the entire thingy and flip those patties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wearing chaplaincy uniform.

LOOK at that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 180 degrees! Robert was better, he did 360. Hahahahaha. He taught me how to flip those things and i mastered them instantly!!!!!!!!
I am so proud, wahahahaha.
Met some crazy Italian in the kitchen, mentioned earlier, and lots of Nigerian.
I think i should be a Nigerian, or I was some time ago.
