Massue

Had a good, eye-opening, much needed conversation with this anonymous friend of mine. We then talked a little bit about Massue, just a little. Made me think even deeper about the underlying problems within it. Although these were not discussed, i am 100% convinced that it is the case. Justice and Equality, will now be exercised in my own backyard.

1. Massue preys on the juniors and takes advantage of them in their vulnerability and in pure innocence. Forced to take up committee roles although they have just arrived!!!

BANG. That is strike one

2. Massue events as a continuity of traditions.

BANG. Strike 2

3. Massue objectives and events objective are undefined, and often becomes the interest of the elite few, isolating the rest.

BANG BANG. Strike 3

4. Activities are executed without a reason, giving rise to much waste in terms of time, money, and energy.

BANG. Strike 4.

5. Massue is not benefiting everyone and anyone. There are no fruits produced from all its labour throughout the course of its existence.

BANG. Strike 5.

6. Massue creates strife among its members, unnecessary student politics, and prejudice. Thats the clear and most distinct outcome of the society.

BANG! Strike 6.

If i was reading this out to whoever they may be, i would be banging the table and probably cracked it.

The problem is not so much as the people, its the system, and the way it is being done.

I will now label Massue, my society that i am presiding over, as a society that is wrong, that is unnecessary, that is biased, that is full of strife, that is fruitless, and that deserves to be shut down and cease operation. I pledge as the head of the malaysians in heriot watt that this will come to past, for the good of its people. Until that happens, i will not relent. I will also draw up a new proposal which will be the complete opposite of the current society. One, i hope, will be carried out in the new academic year.

No rest for the wicked. no mercy for the evil one. Destruction to the strife-filled system.
