An expression

A person who broke prejudices,
a companion bringing genuine comfort.
One that I truly admire and adore,
whom I treasure in my heart.

Affections that were real but misrepresented,
causing great distress and much confusion.
But the trust and respect we have,
the love and bond we share,
the willingness to amend and reconcile,
covers and surpasses all hurt and pain.

A friendship tested and refined,
is now more precious and genuine,
than all the earthly treasures I can ever find.

Although the sky turns dark and grey,
yet I will hope for a brand new day,
because i have a friend like you. : )

Lasting Impression

The sight and sounds has grown stale,
The world changes as it never will,
With many summers and winters past,
how the cherry blossoms do not last,
The life of man is but a breeze,
Whose heart wandered with no sense of ease.
Strong and sturdy the mountains of nature stand,
Will one day crumble to fine powdery sand.
Of all the great things done and told,
None could match my adoration to you, That never grows old.
