And i am getting bored >< Similiar to A lvls revision minus the stress, hehe. For you guys finishing SPM this week, I know you are so darn happy when fridays comes... jealous jealous.
Still attending the bible studies and planning to celebrate on friday by lepakin in the city. St. Andrews day this friday and the celebration is going to be HUGE, not sure what are they celebrationg about though.
New things so far this week:
1. PART TIME JOB! PERMANENT!
Yet again, thanks to my resourcefullness, its rather promising that i can land this job. Few people from the chinese BStudy are doing this as well and it appeared someone took the job but turned it down, not sure why. They will come back to me this friday so please please pray that i will get it. Well, all i do is serving coffee. hahahaha. LOL.
It will be at the train station, Waverly train station i think. Linking edinburgh to london or manchster, cant remember. I will be doing 16h/week and it will be good because this will force me to organise my time properly and get to earn 80 POUNDS A WEEK!! 16hours x 5 (min wages) - taxes ( or is there?). I would say financially i am eased quite a bit. I was advised to take a permanent one, because, as like i said earlier, organize my time, routinised, 80pounds a week, and also paid annual leave~! wahaha.
2. FLATS?!!
Yes, yet again, i have an option to stay off campus! Will stay with the same group of Chinese roughly 15 minutes from campus, because a flatmate is moving out and another is flying off. So, instead of paying 320-330 per month now, i will pay around 240-250. If you work out the maths, that more than RM500 saved!
Advantages of doing this is that i will not feel that lonely anymore, no more noise from all he partying, chinese FOOD!!!?? (wahahaa, not that i fancy it that much though), and it will be a great opportunity to improve my mandarin. Most importantly to have someone else keeping a watch on me.
Ya, the disadvantage is, i wont exactly have the flexibility in doing things at campus, the need to plan things properly. Not able to see my Malaysian friends THAT often (for dota or cooking together). Waking up early, but i am used to that. Erm, flat's room might not be that good? Then again i have survived P.Kapas accomodation, PD's. And yeah, i wont have such nice sceneries outside my window, lol.
3. I would want to start a morning prayer and devotion group for Mon-Fri. Not sure how is this going to be done but i feel its appropriate, an important need. The need to straigten myself again everyday after waking up, coz i tend to wake up on a wrong 'note'. To build a solid prayer life? A close-knited, multilingual, multinational, inter-bible-study-society prayer group? Haha, there's too much Nigerian, Chinese, Afro-Carribean, Locals Bible study (though they dont label it that way, but thats how it is) too much bible study in fact :S. A unified prayer group is bound to be very VERY interesting, just imagine the mixture of chemistry and spiritual gifts. We will be literally speaking in tongues. haha.
Things are getting very interesting again : ) And i have not think about Christmas holiday yet!
you only have one shot at life, aim high. Show me Your heart Show me Your way Show me Your glory
